“All That Jazz” Art Walk on Flagler Avenue will be held in conjunction with the 9th annual New Smyrna Beach Jazz Festival, from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 26. Visit Art Walk and take a fascinating stroll along Flagler Avenue while enjoying the wonderful art on display in galleries, under canopies, on porches and in courtyards. The popular event features painting, jewelry, ceramics, glass blowing, sculpture, fabric arts and more; free children’s activity, entertainment and a special prize drawing; presented by the Gallery Group of Flagler Avenue.
DJ Dennis will be playing jazz tunes and making announcements at the gazebo at Flagler Avenue and Pine Street. There will also be a bidding table at the gazebo for some wonderful “surfboard” art. The one-foot by eight-foot wooden “artistic surfboards” by artists Stephanie Hill, Paulette Capwell, Troy Holloway, Terry Webb, Sue Brown and Kathy Mills will be on display and available for bidding.

And if that’s not enough – there will be music emanating from indoor venues up and down the avenue, courtesy of the 9th Annual New Smyrna Beach Jazz Festival. It’s all free and in walking distance along the five fabulous blocks between the Indian River and the ocean on New Smyrna’s Flagler Avenue.
The Jazz Festival performances will be held at several different indoor venues, organized by Marc Monteson Promotions. (* Saturday schedule below) For more information about the Jazz Festival, call 423-9760 or visit www.marcmontesonpromotions.com.
Art and music – in a charming setting between the river and the ocean – what more could one ask for? Come for the art, enjoy the music and stay for the sunset at the September Art Walk on Flagler Avenue.
