The club meets at the Edgewater Library the fourth Monday of the month, with member photo submission from 6:45-7 p.m., followed by the business meeting, education program and judging of entries.

Assigned competition categories for 2008 are:

February – Shadows

March – Action

April – Hands or Feet

May – Sunrise/sunset

June/July?August will be workshops

September – Warm Blooded Amimals

October – Flowers/Gardens

November – Wide Open Spaces

December – Games

Music, dancing in the street, a parade, lots of beads, King John and Queen Adele – Mardi Gras on Flagler Avenue was fun for everyone. It was a great Fat Tuesday!

Feb. 2 and 3, the Little Theatre held its 6th Talent Variety Show to sold-out audiences. There were 22 acts in each performance. Here are the results:

Saturday, Feb. 2:
First Place: The Firecrackers – a cappella harmony
First Runner Up: Greg Reyman – original guitar and vocal
Second Runner Up: The Foleys – Country Duet

Sunday, Feb. 3:
First Place: Ron Hebel – vocal solo
First Runner Up: Ida Haverly – Vocal Solo – Comedy
Second Runner Up: Bobby Meeks – Country Solo

The Kong Show features an evening of laughter, applause and an opportunity to see some really excellent talent from local area participants. Prizes were – First place, $100; second, $50 and third, $25.
